The Lebrun brothers look back on their childhood for L’Équipe
For this interactive long-form feature by L’Équipe Explore titled “Enfance d’un style” (Childhood of a Style), about the meteoric rise of Alexis and Félix Lebrun, I directed the interview of the two brothers. The report goes behind the scenes of their training in Montpellier: previously unseen family archives, the role of their father Stéphane, a former high-level player, in their learning, and an analysis of their precocious, unconventional playing style, notably Félix’s penholder grip, which shaped these internationally medalled champions.
