Oki Sato of studio nendo turns rain into flowers
A carte blanche offered by Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, the exhibition “Ame Nochi Hana” (“after the rain, flowers”), imagined by Japanese studio nendo and its founder Oki Sato, takes over the department store’s atrium and windows: kinetic raindrops gradually turn into a field of daisies before returning to their original form, while the windows depict the stages of the water cycle through hand-shaped paper elements. This making-of follows the creation of this poetic installation.
